About
The person behind the brand.
I studied Spatial Planning at the Technical University of Vienna — which sounds niche, and it is. It's the discipline that asks: how do cities, regions, and systems of movement actually work together? Turns out, it's a great foundation for everything that came after.
While finishing my master's, I started working. First in operations at Transport Service Solutions, then a stint as an Innovation Consultant at 1030 Innovation Consulting — project development, business model design, early-stage product work. I got good at asking uncomfortable questions and moving fast across unfamiliar problems.
Then logistics — properly. I joined mjam (Delivery Hero Austria) as a Team Lead and eventually became Head of Logistics Operations. We were building delivery infrastructure at speed: hundreds of riders, dynamic routing, real-time decisions under pressure. Chaotic, creative, and the best education I could have gotten in how complex systems behave when they're on fire.
In 2022 I stepped back. Eight months travelling — not running away, but thinking clearly for the first time in years. I knew I wanted out of pure operations. What I actually loved was technology, product, building things. The decision was simple once I gave myself the space to make it.
So I went into tech. At Rail Cargo Group I got certified as a Scrum Product Owner and led the development of a digital booking platform for rail freight across Europe — effectively building the booking.com of rail cargo. Complex domain, long cycles, many stakeholders. I learned to think in systems and ship in sprints.
The body eventually refuses to continue on the same terms.
I took it seriously. Rebuilt from the ground up: the gym, yoga, nutrition, sleep, shiatsu. The unsexy fundamentals that actually work. I came out the other side slower in some ways, much more deliberate in others.
Now I'm building Fleamio — my own thing. I'm also investing: in ideas, in markets, in people I believe in. And I'm using AI obsessively, not because it's fashionable but because it genuinely expands what one person can build alone.
This site is where I think out loud about all of it.
What I'm into right now
The dream
A house near the Mediterranean coast. A small farm where I grow food I actually want to eat. A well-equipped workshop for whatever project I'm into that week. The VW Multivan parked outside. Good neighbours. Slow mornings.
I'm building toward that. Everything I do professionally now is in service of the kind of life I actually want to live — not the one that looks impressive on a LinkedIn profile.
